I thought I did but the second I woke up and knew the JW's were BS I lost my feelings with Jehovah. I still feel like there is something out there I just don't know what to call it.

if so, how did this relationship manifest itself?

i guess that is what i don't understand about forgiveness... if i say i forgive you i feel like it is a clean slate and i should have no reservations. as if it never happen and i need to start new. the ploblem with that is I can't!

Private Discussion

as most people seem to have worked out the private discussion and support part of the forum is not private beyond requiring a username.. today nugget and cantleave are having printouts of their posts in this section being used in evidence at their jc.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/members/private/204436/1/nugget-and-cantleave-are-no-longer-jehovahs-witnesses.
my suggestion is, if its possible, to create an invite-only section of the board for truly private support.. .

well at least we admit it. Theremay be bad people on this site. We don't hide it and say we are great trust us! God is with us and no one else! It's a good place to con people. I didn't write personal things until I didn't care if the GB read it.

For the people in my life that i no longer see or will see I can do that. Forgive - Forget unless something reminds me and i can put it out. I have a problem with those that want to have a relationship with me Mom and Dad... I wrote them both off as toxic parents and didn't have much to do with them for years. They both want me to forgive them for various reasons but have never in my mind proven they have changed. It's not that i want to hurt them. But, if I say OK the past is the past and tredge forward with a relationship I feel like it is making what they did as NOTHING. I don't want to give details but ya BIG THINGS! So i have been tormented with the word forgiveness all my life. I feel guilt because I don't know how much I want them in my life, or at all. I just got an e-mail from my Dad last week saying "I'm your Dad you can tell me anyting ... all sappy" I don't know. I know no one can tell me the secret of how to act, but I don't understand that word forgiveness.

I do equate forgiveness with acceptance. My head says that is not right but something in me keeps the two together. Not sure if it is my JW upbringing or just how I view it? Still how to forgive something you will never accept

Forgiveness! Something I strugle with. I'm great at the small stuff. I don't do cat fights over stupid things. The big things I'm not so go at. I do think it is letting go of the anger, but how? I don't want to hurt anyone, well some people deserve pain. I aways do better when I have a reason why someone did something hurtful. The JW"s i can forgive after understanding cult mind control. How do you let go of crimes done against you that destroyed part of my inner soul? I don't know how to do that.

CO will sit in on my "study" this week: any suggestions?
by InterestedOne inin my "study" with jw's, we're in ch 7 of the "bible teach" book.
we did pars 17-20 last week.
this week, the co is in town, and my conductor is having him sit in.

well I'm only at 533 but I think it is more important that any invites have stated negative things about the JW's. Proof of there reasons for being here
